Mission Statement

J&A Architects Ltd is dedicated to creating dynamic solutions for enhancement of the built environment. In the pursuit of this mission, we are required to sustain good client relationship while providing design services which encompass creativity, diversity and value added results and offer guidance through professional leadership, education and experience.

The practice was founded in May 2000 with the Registrar of Companies. However, Mr J. Sooredoo has more than 20 years of experience in France and in Mauritius. As partner of DSA Co Ltd he has been involved in major governmental projects over the past fourteen years in Mauritius.

He is presently involved with J&A Architects Ltd on the construction of several high rise commercial/ office complexes in Port Louis, Ebene, Quatre-Bornes, Beau-Bassin, Curepipe Mahebourg and Flacq as well as a number of apartment complexes over the island, a business hotel at Ebene and various infrastructural/ industrial projects to mention only the most significant ones.

The firm operates in 250m2 of office space in downtown Quatre Bornes and has a local staff of more than 10 qualified persons including 5 architects.

Besides his experience in France, Mr. Sooredoo has gained tremendous expertise through his personal involvement in almost all projects of the office at all stages. He has gained a wide experience in almost all-building types and has had the privilege to work among others on:

- New Department of Neuro Surgery & Spinal Injury at Candos Phase II;
