Professional/ Educational Sports

There are plenty of architectural options for professional sports and many mistakenly assume that architects in the professional sports business can easily apply their trade in the educational arena, but professional is a different ball game from educational.  Professional sports facilities are designed to generate revenue while educational projects are designed to complement the educational program, often with limited funds, and typically under heavy scrutiny.  Educational clients have very few real options.

Room For Expansion

Finding ways to help clients expand the uses of stadiums and to stretch their construction funds has become an important design consideration.  For example, an athletics complex could realize significant cost savings by building a stadium, natatorium, field house and playing fields all on one site where parking could be shared.  As specialists J&A Architects Ltd can help clients from the very beginning with needs analysis, bond planning and cost estimation, followed by master planning, scheduling, design, systems selection and construction administration. Our projects are recognized for their economical designs and long term profitability.
