Mr. Jay Sooredoo holds a degree from Strasbourg school of Architecture, France since 1982. Unité Pédagogique d’Architecture as it is called has the reputation of being completely open to the wildest ideas and gives the opportunity to students to express their fantasies irrespective of technicalities which at one time or the other will channel the design fantasies.
Trained in this setting, he has acquired an insatiable quest for novelty both in terms of ideas and techniques. He has worked for seven years in several reputed architectural practices in Strasbourg an Paris before moving to Mauritius in 1989 to establish his own practice. His work encompasses almost all buildings types, ranging from villas to condominiums, from hotels to hospitals.
Mr. Sooredoo has more than 20 years of experience in France and in Mauritius. As partner of DSA Co Ltd he has been involved in major governmental projects over the past fourteen years in Mauritius.
